it has been such an honor (and so much fun) to watch this little lady grow up. she first came to me when she was still cozy in her mommy's belly and look at her now, sitting up with her own little personality. i love it!!! it is always one of the perks of my job to get to know the families i photograph and I count these guys as some of the best...it has been a blast to get to know them over the last months and I look forward to lots more photo shoots (and hangouts)! thanks guys!!

this little family grew by one and now have a sweet little family of four. they are some of the neatest, sweetest people you could ever meet and they handle two little ones with such grace and ease. we had quite a day with this shoot...it took us a little while, but we got to enjoy great company and yummy pizza (and the boys got a playdate)! fun times...

if you check out my blog ever you have seen these guys before...they happen to be some of our best friends and so we do fun little impromptu photoshoots (she's a photographer too!) whenever we can...this one almost left us stranded on a point of rocks because the tide came in fast and blocked our way out...we had to wade through deep water with babies and camera equipment...it was quite a sight) so here are a few (unedited) shots of their cute little family (and a few of my guys too) from that adventure. love them!!

we had such fun doing this shoot as we traipsed around Norfolk looking for cool spots...he was such a good sport and we got some great photos!! i am photographing his older sisters wedding in a few months, so it will be lots of fun to work with this family again. i'm sure there will be lots of laughs!

alrite, so given that this is the month of thanksgiving...I have decided to challenge myself to be keenly aware of all the things I have to be grateful for. I feel like I am generally a thankful, happy person...but there are definitely days where I lose sight of all the blessings in my life.
So this month I am challenging myself to live out something I call the {The Art of being Grateful}, wish means everyday I am going to post atleast one thing that I am grateful for(and just try to be genuinely aware of it all day). Some days this will be easy as cake, other days when I'm overwhelmed or frusturated it will be much more difficult, but all the more necessary.
So, I would love for you to join me...just post once, twice, as many times as you want during the day about something you are grateful for...and if you ask me, that will be such a nice way to spend November. Being immensely grateful and hearing about the blessing of others!!! Hope you join me!! loves....

so let me start: I am so grateful for the obvious, my husband and my son...they bless me more than I can even begin to express.

aren't these guys gorgeous? they just define beachy to me, doesn't mommy just look like a California girl. anyhow, after one thwarted attempt and several reschedules we finally got their photos done before baby M came along. and it was such fun! they are such a sweet couple and so in love with each other...lots of compliments, sweet whispers, and "babe, you look hott" from the mister. so cute!! they are wonderful parents and their little girl is just as gorgeous :) (you'll see!)

I had the amazing honor of photographing this family and while I thought I was going to bless them, I left with much more than I gave. For the sake of their privacy, I will merely say that this family is going through a very difficult time and one of there friends contacted me to see if I would be willing to work with her to photograph their family and bless them with the gift of memories. I was so excited about the opportunity to serve through my photography and let's just say I learned a lot about being grateful that day. They are some of the nicest, sweetest people you will ever meet and the hope you feel around them is a blessing in itself. So...this day I was able to give a small gift, but the purpose and perspective that was given to me was priceless. Thank you guys for being the people that you are, you are such an inspiration...I hope you LOVE the photos! You are all absolutely glowing.

i get to capture sweet memories and great love! this family is a great example of that! can't you just feel the love...they just adore each other! it is my favorite when you go to photograph a family and they are just naturally tender and loving with each other (even in front of the camera)! aren't the kids too cute! and i also think that some of the shots of the parents are as romantic as any engagements shots I've ever done or seen...that's the way to do it!! thanks guys for a fun time and some amazing photos!!! p.s. sorry about the HUGE post, but I just couldn't help myself.

So, if you follow my blog at all you will notice that we have gotten to watch Miss C from inside her mommy's tummy, as a itty bitty and now as a cutie pie 3m old...next up 6m (soon since I am late in posting this)! i had the privilege of photographing Little Miss P when she arrived in this world!!! it was a dark, rainy day but we got some cozy photos of the adorable family! they are the sweetest people you will ever meet! we had a marathon session...nursing, waiting out rain, impromptu runs home for extra lighting, you name it...but they were great sports- even offering me carrot juice (big sisters favorite)! thanks guys!!

...and before baby came too! We had to reschedule their photo shoot, o probably 8 times (even with a test run in the cold) before the weather finally cooperated for us. But it was so worth it!! This family is so cute and tell me, doesn't she look good for being almost ready to have a baby (she actually had the baby before I got the photos back to them!!!) But needlesstosay, this family was such fun to photograph and little miss M was all about the beach! Thanks guys for a great family photo shoot, I can't wait to photograph baby Hippy (not her real name, but apparently that is what she will be called by her big sister)!!

Meet little Miss S!!! She was such a good little girl while she was getting her photos taken! She was definitely interested in eating and decided that she needed to be awake for most of the shoot, but she was very sweet! ...that this hott mama is only 4 days from having a baby!!! Crazy! Meredith called just a few days before her due date to see if I would be able to fit her and her husband in and boy am I glad that I did!! They were a blast! I had such a great time photographing them and getting to know them! Not to mention that she looks mighty hot, especially for being so close to the end! Way to work it!! Next up, you will see their beautiful little girl that I got to photograph just a few days later!!

...the hot photos I shot of this girly in her wedding dress. She was such a great sport then, but nothing compares to how fabulous you have to be to get your maternity photos taken at the beach, in cute dresses when it is 40ºF. It was soooooooooo cold and I was in sweatshirt and Uggs, but doesn't she just look so amazing and nonchalant. I was super impressed and we got some great photos! So thanks for being a trooper and as I always say...so easy to photograph ;) Your hott! Can't wait to do your newborn shots in a few more weeks!!!!

Aren't these guys too adorable! I had such a great time doing this shoot! Well as you can see we here at London Park Photography have been stuck in the studio...and we are soooo ready for some warm weather! Studio photos are great but we LOOOOVE to be outside...such a better place to capture the expressions and personality of little ones and families! Well as you can see these are a few months old...I have been taking a little break from blogging!

Anyhow, this family is the cutest and I had so much fun photographing them! It was really impossible to take a bad shot...they are so gorgeous! These are some of our good friends and one of Brittin's favorite little buddies so I had such a blast! How gorgeous is this family! I love photographing this family because for one thing they are all so photogenic, but also because they look so different. Mom and Dad are polar opposites and the kiddos are so distinct and absolutely cute! I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful wedding and it was such a great time!
The bride and groom were so photogenic and absolutely fun to work with! Even with some of my crazy ideas (i.e. everybody on the boat!), they were totally relaxed and went right along with it. The Bride was glowing and so beautiful and you could tell the Groom was totally head over heels for her. You can definitely see the love and happiness in their eyes and I can truly say that it is so nice to take photos for a couple that you know truly loves each other and will stand the test of time!
We got some great photos...I hope they are as timeless as you two!

You know, it usually doesn't matter what your friends look like...I mean friend's are good no matter what. Right? But when your a photographer...it's great to have beautiful friends! And I do!
I had so much fun at this shoot! I felt like I was a photographer for America's Next Top Model, I mean really...look at this hottie! She was so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, she made my job sooo easy and FUN!
Also, for those of you who are wondering...yes, she has already gotten married and no, we didn't have to go straight to the dry cleaner with her dress afterwards :) Good thing too!

I need to get so much better about posting but I have been sooo busy!! We have been in and out of town, I've been working hard to get the business side of my photography together (which is not my strongest point...but I am learning...and it takes soo much time), I have been shooting and editing lots of photos as you can see, trying to have time for friends and family, staying on top of all my other commitments, etc. While I need to get better about posting regardless, life is just busy and I never realized how fast time flies! I had the pleasure of photographing this family while I was in FL and it was quite fun (and quite interesting)!! Big brother, Mr. J taught me all there is to know about hermit crabs...he is quite the expert and he has a few of his own at home! Little brother, Mr. C wanted nothing to do with having his picture taken so it was an array of silly antics that allowed for the shots we did capture...he definitely kept me busy and showed me what I am in for with my little guy in the next few years...I am so excited but exhausted thinking about it!!! Anyhow, I had a great time with such a happy, good-looking family...you can just see how much these guys love each other...they even go surfing together!! Thanks guys!!

Little Ms. E was a blast to photograph and we had lots to talk about...she had just gotten back from a trip to Disney where she met all of the princesses!!! I had so much fun taking photos of my friend Jenn, she is such a natural! Through lots of laughs, traipsing (sp?) through sand and bamboo, and freezing at the beach...we got quite a few great pictures of her :)

Check out how beautiful these little girls are...I had so much fun shooting photos of them! We met up at Island Park in Sarasota, Florida (my hometown)...and we ran all over the place snapping pictures-in true 2 year old style. I have been friend's with thier mommy since we were in middle school so it was really fun to get to spend some time with all of them (and another one on the way!). It was so neat to see their personalities shine through...Miss M loves the camera, she was shooting me poses left and right while Miss K was a little more reserved, I had to sneak a lot of the photos of her. I love beautiful things...I am enamored by the sky when the sun sets, I will stop to watch a butterfly flutter by or a bright green caterpillar inch along; I love to see the wonder on children's faces when they play and explore their world, the love in a mothers eyes when her baby looks up at her, the joy of friends as they chat at lunch. I am an observer...I watch moments...always have...I love to fully experience life...to take every moment in. God has created this world full of beauty and wonder, moments that pass by so quickly...

I fell in love with photography as I walked the streets of London, it is a city so full of excitement and moments...I needed a way to capture all that was spinning around me...photography was my answer. I spent days walking around Piccadilly Circus, down Oxford Street, through Hyde Park and Covent Garden...watching moments unfold and finally being able to capture them through my lens. I instantly fell in love with the art of photography...that was 5 years ago...

London Park Photography has been a long time coming. I have lived many dreams between that day and today...but still it lingered...my desire to stop and breathe...to capture moments. Then my inspiration was born...my son Brittin...you realize how priceless a moment is when you hold your new baby and how quickly they pass as you literally watch them grow before your eyes.

Now it is time for me to live out my dream of being a professional photographer. I have spent countless hours learning my skill and deepening my love for the art and now I am blessed with the time to make it happen. My hope is that the images I capture for you stop time, give you a tangible way to keep memories close.

A way to remember the dimples on your babies hands, their edible toes, their pouty lip, the gleam in their eye as they look up at you, that priceless smile with only 3 teeth...the fun of your family, the laughter you share together...the excitement you feel on your wedding day, the love of your friends as you prepare to walk down the aisle, the joy in your eye as you see your bride, the hope of your father as he gives you away...the moments that make life what it is...
